I so want to love Git, but I just haven’t gotten there yet.
I probably need the right kind of project where distributed repositories make sense. Up to now, subversion has really worked quite well.
What do you find especially cool about Git?

For the kind of work I do, Subversion is fine. It is more than fine, it is perfect. I love it actually. That said, so many projects have switched to get and it seems to have captured the mindshare that I figured I had better learn it, and I’m looking for materials to make it more pleasant for me.
